CORE VALUES
Born and raised in Germany Samuel and Anna Wagner felt a passion for South America early on. Seeking God’s will for their life, they were being led to an international children’s ministry – Metro World Child in New York City. While serving inner city children and being trained in leadership by Pastor Bill Wilson over several years, the first doors in South America opened. Starting 2013 Samuel was able to regularly travel to Bogota, Colombia to train the first churches, which started to reach out to their local communities.
In 2016 Samuel and Anna got married. In 2017 the couple left their old life behind and moved to Colombia with the burning desire to reach children all over South America.
Save a Child was officially founded in 2018 as an independent subsidiary parter of Metro World Child and is destined to reach, save and empower the next.

OUR BELIEFS
GOD
We believe in God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, who made all things and is eternal. His love is constant, unchanging and possible to be experienced by anyone.
JESUS
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, in His virgin birth, in His life without sin, in His miracles, in His atoning death, in His resurrection and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, where He now acts as mediator.
BIBLE
Creemos que la Biblia es la Palabra de Dios inspirada por el Espíritu Santo y, en consecuencia, nuestra principal autoridad. Es la base de nuestra vida cristiana y una guía en cada decisión de vida.
HOPE
We believe that salvation is a gift of grace from God and cannot be received through actions. It promises us forgiveness of sins and the eternal life in Jesus Christ. All those who decide to live for God receive it freely.
CONFIDENCE
We believe in the return of our Lord Jesus Christ in person as the fulfillment and vindication of history. Every person is in need of forgiveness through Jesus Christ in order to enter eternal life in communion with God.
COMMUNITY
We believe that those who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior become members of the living body of Christ and will therefore seek, congregate and participate in a local church through regular worship to God, through fellowship with their brothers and sisters and through freely serving their neighbor.
